India has one of the largest and fastest-growing Minecraft communities in the world, and for a long time the honest answer for Indian players was to eat the latency and connect to a European or North American server. That has changed. Space-Node now offers a Minecraft Budget tier billed specifically for India, with pricing shown in INR.
What's actually running, honestly
There is no dedicated India data center yet. The India-billed plans route through our Singapore node, on the same Ryzen 9 3900X hardware as our other Budget regions, with NVMe storage and DDoS protection included. That is a real, meaningful upgrade over connecting to Europe or the US, since Singapore is geographically and network-wise much closer to India than Frankfurt or Beauharnois. It is not the same as a server physically sitting in Mumbai or Chennai, and we would rather tell you that plainly than promise a local data center we do not have.
Pricing in INR
Select India in the region picker on the Minecraft hosting page and you can switch the price display to INR. Starting prices:
| Plan | RAM | EUR | Approx. INR |
|---|---|---|---|
| MC Coal | 3GB | €2.70/mo | ~₹297/mo |
| MC Gold | 5GB | €4.50/mo | ~₹495/mo |
| MC Diamond | 8GB | €7.20/mo | ~₹792/mo |
INR pricing is shown for reference at an approximate exchange rate. Checkout is still billed in EUR.
Test your own latency
Rather than quote a made-up ping number, use the live latency check built into the plan selector. Go to Minecraft hosting, pick the India region, and the page pings the real Singapore-backed node from your own browser before you order.
Why Local Hosting Matters
Indian internet infrastructure has improved dramatically, but latency to distant servers is still dominated by physical distance and the number of network hops in between. Routing through Singapore instead of Europe or the US cuts out several of those hops for most of the subcontinent.
What to Look For
- NVMe SSD storage
- DDoS protection included, not an upsell
- INR-friendly pricing, even if billing settles in another currency
- English support
- Honesty about where the server actually sits, not a vague "Asia" claim
Indian Minecraft Community Tips
- Many Indian players use Tlauncher or similar launchers, so consider
online-mode=falsewith an auth plugin if you want to include everyone - Mobile Minecraft (Bedrock) is popular in India due to smartphone gaming. Consider a Geyser proxy to support both Java and Bedrock
- Hindi and English bilingual server messages help
- Timezone: IST (UTC+5:30), schedule events accordingly
