Who runs Space-Node
We're a small team running our own hardware in European datacenters. Not a reseller; we own the nodes, rack them, and answer the tickets ourselves.
What we run
- Hardware: Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 9950X3D nodes, NVMe Gen4 storage, ECC RAM.
- Network: 1 Gbps standard with provider DDoS scrubbing.
- Locations: Amsterdam (primary), Falkenstein, Helsinki on demand.
- Hypervisor: Proxmox with KVM; LVM-thin for live snapshots.
- Panels: Pterodactyl on game plans, full root on VPS plans.
Why we exist
The mid-tier hosting market is full of two types:
- Resellers: you talk to a sales rep who can't actually log into the box. Tickets bounce until someone upstream answers.
- Hyperscalers: technically excellent, but you're a row in a billing system. No human triage, no walk-to-the-rack option when something physical breaks.
We sit between. Specs comparable to top-shelf hosts, response times measured in minutes during peak, no resellers.
What we don't do
- We don't oversell RAM. Allocated RAM is reserved.
- We don't mark up affiliate plugins or game panel addons.
- We don't run shared Pterodactyl instances on VPS plans; you get root.
- We don't promise 99.99 % SLA; the realistic number is 99.9 % per node.
Where Space-Node is the wrong fit
- You need a US-based primary node (we don't operate any).
- You need a Windows Server license bundled (Linux only on most plans).
- You want a "free trial" with auto-conversion (we don't do that; we offer short paid trials with refunds).
- You're looking for sub-€2 game hosting (we're not the cheapest; we're focused on actual performance).
If those describe you, we'd rather you find someone better suited than be unhappy on our nodes.
