Do I lose my data when Palworld 1.0 drops?

Accepted Answer

No. Your saves carry over to 1.0. However, Pocketpair recommends a fresh start because old map chunks do not regenerate the new 1.0 layouts and new characters get permanent stat boosts. You can back up your legacy world through FTP and keep it. Read our 1.0 save wipe guide.

Will the new 1.0 map size require me to upgrade my RAM?

How much RAM does a Palworld server need?

A Palworld dedicated server needs around 8GB of RAM as a minimum and uses more as players, bases, and captured Pals increase. We recommend 16GB for a full 32-player lobby, which is why our plans start at 8GB and scale up, with no underpowered lower tiers that would crash on a busy world.

Why do you not offer 1GB to 4GB Palworld plans?

Because they would not run well. Palworld is built on Unreal Engine and its dedicated server is memory-hungry from the start: small plans crash on a full lobby. We only sell tiers that actually deliver a stable experience, beginning at 8GB.

How many players can my Palworld server hold?

Accepted Answer

Palworld supports up to 32 players per dedicated server. Our Lamball plan suits up to 8 players, Chikipi handles 16, and Depresso and above run the full 32-player lobby smoothly. The right tier depends on how busy your world is and your settings.

Can I customize gameplay settings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You get full access to PalWorldSettings.ini, so you can tune XP rates, capture and breeding rates, day/night length, drop rates, base limits, PvP, and every other multiplier the game exposes. Changes apply on the next restart.

Do you support the Palworld REST API and RCON?

Accepted Answer

Both are supported. Enable the built-in REST API for remote administration and automation, and use RCON for live admin commands, broadcasts, and player management through any standard RCON client.

Can I run mods on my Palworld server?

Backups run automatically on a schedule, and depending on your plan you get 2-3 backup slots. You can also trigger a manual backup before risky changes. Restoring is a one-click process from the control panel.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the client panel. Upgrades apply immediately and you only pay the prorated difference, so adding RAM as your world grows is painless.
