Sized from FTB's own figures
Which plan fits your StoneBlock 4 server?
FTB asks for at least 6GB of RAM for StoneBlock 4 and recommends 8GB, and its server installer turns that 8GB into the Java heap. Java needs memory on top of the heap, so we start StoneBlock 4 at 12GB. The pack gives no player counts: more people online and bigger automation both need more heap.
Fresh world
MC Special 1, 12GB RAM
Standard
€10.80/mo
Premium
€21.99/mo
Runs the pack the way FTB's installer sets it up: an 8GB Java heap, FTB's recommended figure, with room left for Java itself. Enough for a new world and a group that is just starting out.
Choose 12GBGrowing base
MC Special 3, 16GB RAM
Standard
€14.40/mo
Premium
€27.99/mo
Lets you raise the heap to 12 to 14GB once Mekanism, Create and Replication setups, force-loaded chunks and more people online start to add up, without moving plans later.
Choose 16GBPublic server
MC Special 4, 32GB RAM
Standard
€29.99/mo
Premium
€56.99/mo
Room for a much bigger heap when many teams play at once, each with its own force-loaded chunks (25 per team by default).

- 12GB RAM
- 70GB NVMe

- DDoS Protection Included
StoneBlock 4 publishes no player counts. These sizes follow FTB's own figures (6GB minimum, 8GB recommended) plus memory for Java itself; more players and bigger automation need more.
3 server port allocations included. Up to 5 available on request.
Instant setup in your selected region.
CPU matters
Minecraft cares about single-thread speed. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs Ryzen 9 7950X or 9950X (depending on stock) and Standard Ryzen 9 3900X-class. California and Virginia run the 7950X3D, Singapore and Australia the 5950X, and India the 3900X-class. The CPU is shared on every plan.
Protection choices
DDoS protection is included on every plan in every region. Premium and the USA locations run behind Cloudflare Magic Transit; Standard, Singapore, Australia and India use standard protection. There is no paid add-on.
Panel included
Console, files, backups, schedules, startup flags, and sub-users are ready.
9 regions
Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India (Mumbai), and Australia. EU, NA, Asia, South Asia, and Oceania covered.

Setup
From order to first join
Step 1
Pick 12GB or more and a region
Your server and control panel login arrive by email after payment.
Step 2
Install NeoForge, then the pack
Install NeoForge 21.1.250 for Minecraft 1.21.1 from the panel. On your own computer, run install.bat or install.sh from FTB's server files, then the installer it downloads. Upload the pack files it fetches over SFTP, set Java 21, start once, accept the EULA in eula.txt and start again.
Step 3
Check command blocks, match the version
Make sure server.properties has enable-command-block=true. Players install StoneBlock 4 1.22.0 in the FTB App or the CurseForge app.
Running the server
StoneBlock 4 things worth knowing before you start
Command blocks must stay on
FTB says some StoneBlock 4 structures do not work without enable-command-block=true. The pack's default-server.properties turns command blocks on, the Nether off and spawn protection to 512 blocks, and a small mod in the pack writes those values into server.properties on the first start. Make your own changes after that start, not before.
FTB's installer sets an 8GB heap
It writes -Xmx8192M into user_jvm_args.txt. If your server starts through that file, Java gets 8GB on every plan. On an 8GB plan, lower it to FTB's 6GB minimum with -Xmx6G; on 16GB and up, raise it to use the RAM you pay for and keep a couple of GB free for Java itself.
Backups every two hours, up to 50 GB
FTB Backups 3 is on by default: a backup every 120 minutes when players have been online, the last 12 kept, up to 50 GB inside the server folder. That would fill most of the 70GB disk on our 12GB Standard plan, so lower max_total_size in config/ftbbackups3-server.snbt. A copy in world/serverconfig survives pack updates.
Chunk loading stops when a team logs off
FTB Chunks keeps a team's force-loaded chunks running only while one of them is online, unless a member has the ftbchunks.chunk_load_offline permission in FTB Ranks. By default a team can claim 500 chunks and force-load 25, however many members it has. To keep farms running overnight, copy config/ftbchunks-world.snbt to world/serverconfig and set force_load_mode to always there; that copy survives pack updates.
Updates come often
Between 24 July and 22 September 2026 FTB released 10 versions, and 3 of them moved to a newer NeoForge build. Back up before every update, and when the NeoForge version changes, install the new one in the panel too.
Do not copy your client mods folder
The pack has 414 mods, and 26 of them only run on the client, mostly graphics, menu and tooltip mods such as Sodium and Iris. FTB's installer leaves those out, so a server gets 388. Always build the server with FTB's installer.

StoneBlock 4 Hosting FAQ
- FTB's StoneBlock 4 page asks for at least 6GB of RAM and recommends 8GB, and FTB's server installer gives Java an 8GB heap. Java needs memory on top of the heap, so we start StoneBlock 4 at 12GB. On our 8GB plan (MC Diamond) the heap has to drop to FTB's 6GB minimum with -Xmx6G. The pack publishes no player counts; more people online and bigger bases both need more.
- Yes. FTB says StoneBlock 4 needs enable-command-block=true in server.properties, or some structures in the world will not work. The pack's own default-server.properties switches it on during the server's first start, together with spawn-protection=512 and allow-nether=false. If you edit server.properties later, leave that line as it is.
- StoneBlock 4 1.22.0 runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.250. FTB's pack page lists Java 21, which is also what Minecraft 1.21.1 itself needs. You can pick the Java version in the Startup tab of the panel.
- On the StoneBlock 4 CurseForge page, open the files tab, pick 1.22.0 and look under Additional Files for ftb-stoneblock-4-1.22.0-server.zip. It is only about 2 KB: install.bat, install.sh and a README. The scripts download FTB's server installer for pack 130, version 100515, and that installer fetches NeoForge and the 388 server mods. Run it on your own computer and upload the result over SFTP.
- Yes, the pack includes FTB Backups 3. By default it makes a backup every 120 minutes when players have been online, keeps the last 12 and lets them grow to 50 GB in total, inside the server folder. That counts against your plan's storage, so lower max_total_size or backups_to_keep in config/ftbbackups3-server.snbt. A copy of that file in world/serverconfig keeps your settings through pack updates. Still take a backup from the panel before an update.
- Yes. Everyone needs the exact same pack version as the server, so 1.22.0 on both sides. Players install it from the FTB App or the CurseForge app, and after an update everyone moves to the new version together.
- For a new server, StoneBlock 4. It runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 and Java 21 and still gets regular updates. StoneBlock 3 runs on Minecraft 1.18.2 with Forge and Java 17, and its latest version is 1.11.6 from June 2026. Stay on StoneBlock 3 only if your group already has a world there; worlds do not carry over between the two packs.
