DayZ Badlands and Update 1.30 on Your Server

DayZ Badlands and Update 1.30 came out on 15 October 2026, after 1.30 had been on the Experimental branch since 16 September. Update 1.30 is the base game update, so every DayZ server moves to it, whatever map it runs. Badlands is the paid DLC that adds Nasdara, 267 km² of desert west of Chernarus and the largest official DayZ map.

What Changes on Every Server

Two motorbikes arrive, on Nasdara and in lower numbers on the other maps, and Bohemia's own code lock comes to every map. The 1.30 change log adds a vehicle-specific third-person view server option and a cfgGameplay setting that stops car and motorbike wheels from being detached or damaged. If you run a code lock mod, decide which lock your rules refer to.

Mods and Community Maps

Animation-related mods might run into problems, Bohemia says, and community maps need a new navmesh file because 1.30 drops the old format. Check each mod and your map on the Workshop for a 1.30 version before your server updates.

Mission Files and Nasdara

New vanilla items and vehicles spawn through the mission files, so merge Bohemia's updated files into your own instead of keeping old copies. Bohemia publishes them in its DayZ-Central-Economy repository on GitHub, where the Sakhal mission appeared on Frostline's release day in 2024. The Nasdara mission was added there on 16 October 2026 as dayzOffline.nasdara.

The 1.30 server files reach our DayZ servers the same way every patch does, so make your backup in the panel before 1.30 goes live, not after: the first restart after the release may already run the new build. Download a copy of your mission folder, serverDZ.cfg and profile folder over FTP as well. Our Badlands and 1.30 checklist covers the steps before, on and after the 15th.

Built for DayZ Performance

Every part of our stack is tuned for what DayZ actually needs: fast single-thread CPU, ample RAM, and quick NVMe storage.

Ryzen 9 Performance

DayZ is brutal on single-thread CPU. The Ryzen 9 delivers class-leading per-core speed, keeping server FPS high so AI, loot, and combat stay smooth on a full server.

Instant Server Setup

Your DayZ dedicated server is provisioned in minutes. Pick your map, add mods, tune your serverDZ.cfg, and your community is in the apocalypse right away.

Game-Grade DDoS Protection

Always-on DDoS mitigation protects your server from the attacks that target popular DayZ communities, filtering threats before they reach your port.

NVMe SSD Storage

DayZ persistence and central economy data demand fast disks. NVMe storage keeps loot spawning and restarts quick instead of stalling your server.

Netherlands Datacenter

Centrally located for 5-30ms latency across Europe. Lower ping means tighter gunfights and a fairer experience for your whole server.

Backup Slots in the Panel

Survivor and Bandit have 2 backup slots, Hero has 3. Back up your persistence and map data by hand before a risky change or on a schedule, and restore it from the panel.
