What Is Space-Node? Game & Minecraft Hosting in the Netherlands
Space-Node is a hosting provider based in the Netherlands. We focus on game servers (Minecraft, FiveM, Rust), 24/7 streaming VPS with OBS, Discord bot hosting, and general VPS. Our infrastructure uses AMD Ryzen CPUs, NVMe SSD storage, and DDoS protection on game-oriented plans.
If you searched for space node, space-node, or space node hosting, you are in the right place: our main site is space-node.net.

What Space-Node is
Space-Node is a small European hosting brand running its own hardware in Amsterdam (primary), Falkenstein, and Helsinki. We focus on three workloads:
- Game hosting — Minecraft, FiveM, Rust, ARK, and similar tick-sensitive servers.
- VPS — KVM, dedicated cores, full root.
- 24/7 streaming — sustained outbound bandwidth for OBS, FFmpeg, and re-streaming setups.
We're not a reseller. We rack the nodes, we configure the panels, and we answer the tickets ourselves.
What "self-owned hardware" means in practice
Most "premium" hosting brands at our price point are reselling Hetzner or OVH wholesale. The customer-facing differences are real:
| Thing | Reseller | Self-owned (us) |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket about CPU pinning | "I'll pass it upstream" | "done in 5 minutes" |
| Hardware swap on disk failure | 24-72 hours | a few hours |
| Custom kernel / network rules | usually no | yes |
| Pterodactyl / AMP version control | locked to provider | we choose |
The flip side: smaller pool of locations, no US presence, no enterprise SLAs.
The hardware
- CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 9950X3D. The 128 MB L3 V-Cache is the single best CPU choice for Minecraft tick performance, FiveM scripts, and database-heavy workloads.
- RAM: ECC DDR5-5600.
- Storage: NVMe Gen4 in RAID-1, LVM-thin for snapshots.
- Network: 1 Gbps standard, 10 Gbps available on dedicated nodes.
- DDoS: provider scrubbing at 17+ Tbps capacity (Amsterdam) and ~10 Tbps (Falkenstein).
What we host well
- Minecraft: Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, modpacks up to 32 GB RAM.
- FiveM: txAdmin-managed servers with QBCore / ESX databases.
- VPS: Linux distros (Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky, Alma, Arch). Windows on request.
- 24/7 streams: OBS encoder VPS, FFmpeg restreaming, RTMP relays.
What we don't host
- Adult content of any kind.
- Cryptomining (provider AUP).
- Mass-mail / SMTP without proven sender reputation.
- High-frequency trading platforms (latency requirements we can't meet).
- Anything that violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
Pricing approach
We're not the cheapest game host. Sub-€2/month panels exist; they run on shared, oversold, older hardware. Our floor is set by the wholesale cost of dedicated Ryzen X3D cores plus the support time we commit to.
In return: TPS that doesn't drop at peak, support tickets answered in minutes during EU business hours, and the ability to actually fix things instead of escalating them.
Where to start
- Plans — current pricing.
- Status — uptime per node.
- Discord — community help and informal ops chat.
- Tickets via the dashboard for billing and technical support.
Where Space-Node is the wrong fit
- You need US-based primary hosting (we don't operate any).
- You need the cheapest possible plan.
- You need a Windows Server license bundled.
- You need 99.99 % SLAs in writing.
For those, larger or specialized providers are a better match.
