You want your own Arma Reforger server for a squad, a clan or a Conflict community, and every host quotes its price a different way: per slot, per gigabyte of RAM, per 30 days, in euros, pounds or dollars. This page puts them on one line. Every price below was read from the host's own Arma Reforger page or order form on 3 November 2026, converted to euros where needed, and divided by the slots it buys. Hosts change prices often, so treat this as a snapshot with links, not a quote.
Quick answer: On price per slot, the best Arma Reforger server hosting we found on 3 November 2026 was ZAP-Hosting and Host Havoc, both about €0.45 a slot at 40 slots, falling to about €0.41 at ZAP-Hosting's 64 slots and €0.42 at Host Havoc's 128. For a group of 10, ZAP-Hosting's €6.90 is the cheapest 10 slot plan at its regular price, but it comes with 2 GB of RAM. Price per slot is only half the picture, because Reforger's slot count is one number in config.json and what costs money is RAM and CPU. We sell Reforger servers too, by RAM rather than slots: from €2.90 a month for 2 GB to €15.80 for 12 GB as of 3 November 2026, with the slot count set by you.
Why price per slot misleads for Arma Reforger
A Reforger server reads its player cap from the maxPlayers field in its config.json. Bohemia's Server Config page lists it as a number from 1 to 128, with 64 as the default. A slot is that cap, nothing more. The number itself is one line in a file; the players who fill those slots are what use RAM and CPU.
So hosts that sell slots tie RAM to them in different ways. ZAP-Hosting's order form includes 2 GB with 10 to 20 slots, 4 GB with 40 and 8 GB with 80. Pingperfect gives 9 GB with its 10 slot plan. GTXGaming lists "up to 10GB RAM free" with 10 slots. Host Havoc and G-Portal do not state the RAM on their Reforger pages. Two plans with the same price per slot can therefore be very different servers.
Host Havoc's own page gives a rule of thumb: roughly 8 GB of RAM for 32 players and 16 GB for 64. Mods push both RAM and disk up, and the server downloads and keeps every Workshop mod it loads. Use slots to compare hosts that sell slots, and RAM to compare everything else.

| G-Portal | Slots and days | €20.13 per 30 days, 20 slots | €20.13 | €1.01 | Not stated |
| Pingperfect | Slots | $16.33/month, 10 slots | €14.61 | €1.46 | 9 GB |
| XGamingServer | RAM | $15.00/month, 6 GB | €13.42 | You set slots | 6 GB |
| Space-Node (us) | RAM | €2.90/month, 2 GB | €2.90 | You set slots | 2 GB |
Several pages show a lower first payment: 4Netplayers €5.99 for the first month (50% off) and XGamingServer $10.50 with its 30% code, renewing at $15.00. The table uses the regular monthly price. Tax handling differs too: ZAP-Hosting's form says its prices include VAT, and 4Netplayers says "tax included".
Price per slot as the server grows
Most slot hosts get cheaper per slot as you add slots. These are the larger options each page listed with a price:
| Host | Smaller plan | Per slot | Larger plan | Per slot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZAP-Hosting | 32 slots, €16.56 | €0.52 | 64 slots, €26.50 | €0.41 |
| Host Havoc | 70 slots, $35.00 (€31.31) | €0.45 | 128 slots, $60.00 (€53.67) | €0.42 |
| GTXGaming | 30 slots, £21.09 (€25.30) | €0.84 | 100 slots, £48.99 (€58.77) | €0.59 |
| G-Portal | 20 slots, €20.13 | €1.01 | 40 slots, €31.95 | €0.80 |
| Pingperfect | 10 slots, $16.33 (€14.61) | €1.46 | 60 slots, $68.47 (€61.25) | €1.02 |
| 4Netplayers | 10 slots, €11.98 | €1.20 | 16 slots, €16.19 | €1.01 |
One detail on ZAP-Hosting's form is worth knowing before you order: round numbers can cost less than the size below them. 20 slots cost €11.73 against €12.42 for 18, 30 slots €15.52 against €16.42 for 28, and 40 slots €17.94 against €18.63 for 36.
For a RAM plan, divide the monthly price by the players you actually run. At Host Havoc's rule of thumb of 8 GB for 32 players, an 8 GB plan costs about a third as much per slot as the same plan with 10 players.
RAM, mods, crossplay and locations
| Host | Workshop mods | Crossplay stated | Locations listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZAP-Hosting | Own mods mentioned | Not stated | 8 |
| Host Havoc | Yes, mod manager | PC, Xbox, PS5 | 14 |
| GTXGaming | Yes, mod installer | PC, Xbox, PS5 | 21 |
| 4Netplayers | Yes, mod guide | Not stated | 14 |
| G-Portal | Not stated | Not stated | 12 |
| Pingperfect | Yes, in config.json | PC, Xbox, PS5 | 20 |
| XGamingServer | Yes, mod manager | PC, Xbox, PS5 | 5 regions |
| Space-Node (us) | Yes, by ID in config.json | Off by default, set in config.json | 9 |
Mods work the same way everywhere, because they come from Bohemia's own Reforger Workshop, not the Steam Workshop. Bohemia's Server Config page describes the mods list as the mods that clients "automatically" download and activate on join. A mod manager in the panel saves you typing IDs; it does not change what the server can load.
Crossplay is also a server setting rather than a product. Bohemia's page lists crossPlatform as off by default, and setting it to true adds Xbox and PlayStation to the platforms the server accepts. Bohemia's FAQ adds that some mods may have limitations on console, and a PS5 has 25 GB for mods since update 1.4. Our Arma Reforger crossplay guide has the config lines and the console limits.
DDoS protected Arma Reforger hosting: what each page states
Every host in this comparison states DDoS protection on its Reforger page, with no add-on price shown for it. Only some say how. G-Portal names Bulwark and Corero. ZAP-Hosting's location info names PletX, with up to 4 Tbit/s of filtering, for its Frankfurt and Eygelshoven site. The others describe it in general terms, such as "multi-tiered mitigation" at Host Havoc and "enterprise DDoS protection" at GTXGaming. Capacity figures are rare, so for most hosts "included" is the part you can compare. Our game server security guide explains what filtering can and cannot stop.
Host by host
ZAP-Hosting. The order form prices Reforger inside its general Arma product: 10 slots with 2 GB for €6.90 a month, up to 200 slots on the form, more than the 128 that Bohemia's config allows. The English page showed the same plan as $7.73. Extra RAM costs €2.40 per GB per 30 days, 50 GB of disk is included, and longer terms save from 10% for 3 months up to 50% for 5 years. Frankfurt and Eygelshoven carry no surcharge; the US sites add 11.2% and London, Montreal, Sydney and Singapore add 56%.
Host Havoc. Host Havoc charges a flat $0.50 per slot from 40 to 110 slots in steps of 10, and $60.00 for 128. It advertises crossplay for PC, Xbox and PS5, Bohemia Workshop mods through its own mod manager, 14 locations across North America, Europe, Singapore and Sydney, and a 72 hour satisfaction guarantee. RAM is not stated per plan.
GTXGaming. GTXGaming has three presets: 10 slots at £9.99, 30 at £21.09 and 100 at £48.99 a month, with "up to" 10, 12 and 16 GB of RAM. A custom build goes from 10 to 128 slots. Its plan section lists 21 locations with London as default (a stats strip on the same page says 20), plus Workshop mods, crossplay, scheduled offsite backups and a 24 hour refund.
4Netplayers. 4Netplayers lists 10 slots at €11.98 and 16 slots at €16.19 a month, both at half price for the first month. Its 14 locations include Frankfurt, Warsaw, Madrid, Paris, Helsinki and London. Own scenarios are supported and the minimum term is one month. RAM is not stated.
G-Portal. G-Portal rents by slots and days, prepaid without a contract: 20 slots for €20.13 per 30 days or €54.34 per 90 days, 40 slots for €31.95, and a 3 day rental from €8.05. Those are Central Europe and UK prices. Its USA sites, Sydney, Singapore, Mumbai and Taipei cost €22.27 for 20 slots, São Paulo €28.95 and Tokyo €33.84. The page does not state RAM, mod support or crossplay.
Pingperfect. Pingperfect states the RAM: 10 slots with 9 GB for $16.33 a month on its 4.5 GHz hardware, 60 slots with 12 GB for $68.47, and the same 10 slots on 5.0 GHz+ hardware for $36.60. It lists 20 locations, nightly backups, crossplay and a 48 hour money back guarantee. A custom build goes up to 128 slots.
XGamingServer. XGamingServer sells by RAM on a Ryzen 9 7950X: 6 GB renews at $15, 8 GB at $25 and 12 GB at $35 a month, with the slot count left to you. Its servers sit in New York, Miami or Montreal, Los Angeles, Germany, Australia and Singapore.
Space-Node (us). Our Arma Reforger plans are sold by RAM: Private 2 GB for €2.90, Corporal 4 GB for €5.80, Sergeant 6 GB for €7.50, Lieutenant 8 GB for €10.20 and Colonel 12 GB for €15.80 a month, as of 3 November 2026, each with NVMe storage, DDoS protection and FTP access. You set the slots with maxPlayers, so Lieutenant works out at about €0.32 a slot if it carries 32 players. Servers run on a shared CPU in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, the USA (California and Virginia), Singapore, India and Australia; the two US locations add €0.10 per GB, so Lieutenant costs €11.00 there.
Three hosts are missing on purpose. Nitrado, Shockbyte and BisectHosting either blocked our request or loaded their Reforger prices only through a script in the browser, so we could not read a price from their pages on 3 November. Check them yourself before you decide.
How to pick in four steps
- Count your real peak. A Friday op with 24 players needs a 24 to 32 slot server, not 64. Set
maxPlayersto that number. - Size RAM for the mods. A vanilla scenario with a small squad needs far less than a modded Conflict server. If a slot host does not state RAM, ask before you pay.
- Pick the location before comparing prices. Surcharges show up only after you choose a site, from 0% to 56% at ZAP-Hosting and up to €33.84 for 20 slots in Tokyo at G-Portal.
- Check the first and the second invoice. A first month at half price says little about month two.
Once the server runs, our dedicated server setup guide covers config.json, ports and mods, and the mods and scenarios guide helps you build a mod list that loads.
FAQ
What is the best Arma Reforger server hosting in 2026? It depends on how you count. Per slot, ZAP-Hosting and Host Havoc were cheapest on 3 November 2026, at about €0.38 to €0.45 a slot for 40 slots or more (the low end is ZAP-Hosting's 120 slots for €45.54). If you need a known amount of RAM, compare per gigabyte instead, and add the surcharge for your location.
How much does an Arma Reforger server cost per month? On 3 November 2026 the entry plans in this comparison ran from €2.90 a month (2 GB of RAM) to €20.13 per 30 days (20 slots at G-Portal). A 64 player server cost €26.50 at ZAP-Hosting and about €31 for 70 slots at Host Havoc, before longer term discounts.
How many players can an Arma Reforger server have?
Up to 128. Bohemia's Server Config page lists maxPlayers from 1 to 128, with 64 as the default. A slot count above 128 on an order form does not raise that cap.
How much RAM does an Arma Reforger server need? Bohemia's config sets slots, not memory, so use the hosts' own guidance as a range: Host Havoc suggests about 8 GB for 32 players and 16 GB for 64, and Pingperfect pairs 10 slots with 9 GB and 60 slots with 12 to 15 GB. Heavy mod lists push it up.
Is DDoS protection included with Arma Reforger hosting? At every host in this comparison, yes: each states DDoS protection on its Reforger page, and none showed it as a paid add-on.
Can Xbox and PS5 players join a rented Arma Reforger server?
Yes, when the server's config.json lets them in: crossPlatform is off by default, so set it to true and list PC, Xbox and PlayStation in supportedPlatforms. Bohemia says some mods may have limitations on console, so test a join with a console player before you open a modded server.
