Minecraft Server Hosting Middle East 2026: Best Ping for the Gulf

Published on

No major host runs game servers inside the Gulf, so the real question is which nearby region serves the Middle East best. Real latency from Dubai, Riyadh, and Cairo to our India and Netherlands nodes, from €2.70/month.

Minecraft server

Minecraft communities in the Gulf and wider Middle East face an honest problem: almost nobody runs commercial game-server capacity inside the region, so every server you can rent sits somewhere else. The question that matters is which "somewhere else" is closest. For most of the Gulf, the answer is Mumbai, and for the Levant and North Africa it is Europe.

The Two Sensible Regions

India (Mumbai) for the Gulf. Mumbai connects to the Gulf through short submarine cable routes across the Arabian Sea.

Player locationEstimated ping to our India node
Dubai / UAE30-45ms
Qatar / Bahrain / Kuwait40-60ms
Riyadh / Jeddah55-85ms
Oman25-40ms

Netherlands for the Levant, Turkey, Egypt, and North Africa. West of Saudi Arabia, European routing wins.

Player locationEstimated ping to our Netherlands node
Istanbul45-65ms
Cairo55-80ms
Amman / Beirut60-85ms
Casablanca / Algiers40-70ms

Ping estimates are approximate and depend on your ISP. If your community spans both sides (say Dubai plus Cairo), pick based on where the majority plays, and check the live latency preview in our plan selector, which measures from your own browser.

Common Questions

Why does nobody host inside Saudi Arabia or the UAE? Datacenter capacity there is enterprise-priced, and game hosts cannot make budget plans work on it. Mumbai at 30-85ms across the Gulf is the practical alternative, and it is the same choice most competitors quietly make when they sell "Middle East" hosting.

Is 60-80ms playable? Yes. Survival, SMPs, and building feel normal well past 100ms. Competitive PvP purists notice above roughly 80ms, which still keeps the whole Gulf inside comfortable range via Mumbai.

Can Bedrock players on phones join? Yes, run Geyser for Java plus Bedrock crossplay: setup guide. Mobile play is huge in the region, so this is usually worth setting up on day one.

What about FiveM for Gulf roleplay communities? Same region logic applies, and we host FiveM on all our regions: FiveM hosting.
