Minecraft servers in Frankfurt, next to our Netherlands and Poland regions. Standard from €2.70 a month, Premium from €5.25, DDoS protection included.

A Minecraft taiga forest next to a lake

Space-Node has a Germany region in Frankfurt. It is one of our three EU locations, next to the Netherlands and Poland, and all three sell the same Minecraft plans at the same prices. So the real question is which one is fastest for your players. This page covers the two hardware lines, the prices, ping figures from German, Austrian and Swiss cities, and how to make sure your server ends up in Frankfurt.

Standard and Premium

In Germany you choose between two hardware lines.

StandardPremium
CPUAMD Ryzen 9 3900X-classAMD Ryzen 9 7950X or 9950X, depending on stock
CPU shareSharedShared, 600 to 800% (6 to 8 vCores) under fair use
MemoryDDR4DDR5
StorageNVMeNVMe, more per plan
DDoS protectionIncluded, standardIncluded, Cloudflare Magic Transit
Starts at€2.70 a month for 3 GB€5.25 a month for 3 GB

On both lines the CPU is shared with other servers on the node, and the RAM in your plan is reserved for your server. The Premium percentage comes from our panel, where 100% stands for one CPU thread. On Standard the exact CPU can vary between similar Ryzen models, with 3900X-class single-thread speed or better.

Minecraft runs its main game loop on a single thread, so single-thread speed decides whether a busy world holds 20 ticks per second. That is where Premium earns its higher price: heavy modpacks such as All The Mods 10, big automated farms, lots of loaded chunks. A vanilla or Paper server for a group of friends is usually fine on Standard. Premium's Cloudflare Magic Transit matters most for public servers on server lists, which draw more attacks than a private SMP.

Prices in Germany

The Netherlands and Poland have the same prices. Here is part of the ladder:

MC Gold5 GB€4.50, 35 GB NVMe€8.75, 60 GB NVMe

MC Special 432 GB€29.99, 120 GB NVMe€56.99, 165 GB NVMe

Prices are per month, billed in euro, with no setup fee. Quarterly, half-yearly and yearly terms cost less per month; a year of Standard MC Coal is €25.92. The plan selector on our Minecraft server hosting page has every size in between. For ATM10, our All The Mods 10 page starts at 12 GB for up to five players.

Frankfurt, the Netherlands or Poland

WonderNetwork runs test servers in many cities and pings between them every hour. These are the medians of those hourly averages between 17 September and 1 October 2026, read from wondernetwork.com on 1 October 2026:

FromFrankfurtAmsterdamWarsaw
Berlin14 ms16 ms23 ms
Hamburg8 ms22 ms41 ms
Munich7 ms14 ms23 ms
Düsseldorf15 ms24 ms27 ms
Vienna22 ms19 ms28 ms
Zurich21 ms16 ms23 ms

Every figure here is low for Minecraft. What the table mostly shows is that routes do not follow the map. Düsseldorf is about as far from Amsterdam as from Frankfurt, yet it measured 15 ms to Frankfurt and 24 ms to Amsterdam. Zurich is twice as far from Amsterdam as from Frankfurt and still came out faster to Amsterdam. WonderNetwork's servers are not our nodes, so read the table as a guide to the routes, not as your ping to us.

For your own numbers, open the plan selector on the Minecraft page. It times a round trip from your browser to every region and refreshes every ten seconds. Visitors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland start on Germany; once the first measurements are in, the selector moves to whichever region answered fastest, until you pick one yourself. The browser figure includes some overhead of its own, so use it to compare regions, and ask your regular players to run it too.

Making sure your server is in Frankfurt

In our checkout the Netherlands, Germany and Poland share one product per plan, which is why the plan name ends in "NL & DE & PL" whichever location you picked on the site. If you want Frankfurt in particular, say so in live chat when you order. Changing your mind later costs nothing: moving a server between our locations is free, about once a week, through live chat.

What every plan includes

  • The Pterodactyl panel with a live console, file manager, SFTP, schedules, startup flags and sub-users. Paper, Forge, Fabric and NeoForge install from the panel.
  • Backups that you make yourself in the panel.
  • Three port allocations: the game port plus two more that you add in the panel at no cost, for example for Simple Voice Chat or Geyser. Live chat can raise the total to five.
  • DDoS protection on every plan: standard on Standard, Cloudflare Magic Transit on Premium.

Support is online every day from 08:00 to 20:00 UTC, on live chat and on Discord. In Germany that is 10:00 to 22:00 until summer time ends on 25 October 2026, and 09:00 to 21:00 after that. Servers are monitored around the clock.

Optional extras at checkout

You do not need any of these to run a server. Checkout lists each one with its price.

  • Automatic off-site backups, €5.00 a month: a copy of your server every 24 hours, stored away from the node.
  • Five more manual backup slots, €6.50 a month.
  • A dedicated port, €5.00 a month. If 25565 (Java) or 19132 (Bedrock) is free on the node, your server gets it, so players can join without typing a port number.
  • For a move from another host, the One-time Server Migration: €15, charged once, and we move the server for you.

FAQ

Does Space-Node have Minecraft servers in Germany? Yes. Our Germany region is in Frankfurt and sells the same Standard and Premium plans as our locations in the Netherlands and Poland.

How much does a Minecraft server in Germany cost? Standard starts at €2.70 a month for 3 GB (MC Coal) and Premium at €5.25 a month for 3 GB. An 8 GB server is €7.20 on Standard and €13.99 on Premium.

Do I get dedicated CPU cores? No. The CPU is shared on Standard and on Premium. Premium plans get 600 to 800% CPU (6 to 8 vCores) under fair use, on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X or 9950X nodes depending on stock. The RAM in your plan is reserved for your server.

How do I make sure my server runs in Frankfurt? Pick Germany in the plan selector and mention Frankfurt in live chat when you order, because one checkout product covers all three EU locations. If you want to switch later, moving between our locations is free, about once a week.

Is Frankfurt the best choice for Austria and Switzerland? Not always. In WonderNetwork's medians, Vienna and Zurich were a few milliseconds faster to Amsterdam than to Frankfurt. Run the test in our plan selector from your own connection and pick the fastest.

Can I pay in euro? Yes. We bill in euro only, with no setup fee.
