Why California
San Jose sits in Silicon Valley, one of the best-connected pieces of internet infrastructure anywhere. For players already in the Bay Area expect single-digit ping, for the rest of the US West Coast expect well under 20ms. Compare that to our Netherlands node (130-160ms from the West Coast) or even our Canada node, which is genuinely strong for a mixed North American audience but still runs 50-70ms out to the West Coast specifically.
