What the Ryzen 9 9950X brings
The Ryzen 9 9950X is AMD's 16 core Zen 5 desktop CPU with a single core boost of up to 5.7GHz, paired here with DDR5 memory. For a VPS that matters in two ways:
- Fast single core work. Many workloads lean on one busy thread: the main thread of a Minecraft server, a Node.js or Python Discord bot, a PHP request, a build step. A high clock on a modern core finishes that work sooner.
- Fast memory and storage. DDR5 and NVMe SSD storage keep databases, package installs and world saves quick.
One honest limit: the vCores are shared with the other VPSes on the node, while your RAM is yours alone. That is how most VPS hosting works. If you need many cores at 100% around the clock, a dedicated server is the better fit, and we can quote one on request.
Which size for what
These are starting points. Watch CPU, RAM and disk use for a few days of real load and move up a size when the graphs show it.
- VPS-XS (2GB): one or a few Discord bots, a small website, a WireGuard VPN, a test box or a monitoring agent.
- VPS-S (4GB): a small Paper Minecraft server for friends, several bots with a database next to them, or a WordPress site.
- VPS-M (8GB): a Pterodactyl panel with Wings and two or three small game servers, or one modpack server. Big modpacks want 8GB or more for the server alone.
- VPS-L and VPS-XL (12GB to 16GB): larger modpacks, a FiveM or Rust server next to other services, or a Docker host with several apps.
- VPS-XXL to VPS-4XL (32GB to 48GB): a game network with a proxy and several servers, or many services on one machine.

Because it is a KVM VPS, you pick the operating system (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux or Windows Server) and get root access from the first minute, plus a browser console for when SSH is not an option.
