You opened a Palworld interactive map, filtered for a Pal, flew to the marker and found nothing. Since Palworld 1.0 came out on 10 July 2026, that happens a lot with older maps and guides: Pocketpair added Sunreach and the World Tree, put seven new small islands on the map and moved Pal spawns across the whole world. This guide lists what 1.0 changed on the map, which interactive maps cover it (checked on 4 November 2026), how to use them, and the server settings that make any community map wrong for your world.
Quick answer: Yes, there are Palworld interactive maps that cover 1.0. When we checked on 4 November 2026, palworld.gg had a Palpagos tab and a separate World Tree tab, with filters for fast travel, dungeons, Alpha Pals, effigies, eggs, ores such as Soralite and Paloxite, and individual Pals, and paldb.cc had separate Palpagos Islands and World Tree maps and listed game version v1.0.5. Version 1.0 added Sunreach, the World Tree, seven small islands, Ancient Ruins, Watchtowers that reveal the map, new settlements and reworked Wildlife Sanctuaries, and it rebalanced where Pals spawn. A map or guide from before 10 July 2026 can send you to the wrong places.
What Palworld 1.0 Changed on the Map
Pocketpair's 1.0 changelog has a whole section called "New Areas & World Improvements". These are the parts that change what you see on a map:
| Change in 1.0 | What it means for your map |
|---|---|
| Sunreach | Floating islands above Palpagos with new Pals, tower bosses and ores that need specialized equipment. Soralite is mined only here. |
| The World Tree | The endgame area. Paloxite, Ancient Civilization Relics and the Radiant Gems used for Awakening come from here. |
| 7 new small islands | Volcano, desert and ruins biomes, each with Pals you only meet on that island. |
| Watchtowers | Using one reveals the map around it and makes it a fast travel point. |
| Ancient Ruins | Spread across the world, with minigames and rewards such as schematics. |
| New settlements | At the Bamboo Groves, the Snowy Mountains, Sakurajima and Sunreach, with new NPCs and sub-missions. |
| Wildlife Sanctuaries | All three reworked, with their own Pals, rare materials, bosses and defense drones. |
| Enemy bases | New ones at sea; on land, their number and positions changed. |
| Pal habitats | Placement and spawn levels reviewed across the whole world. |
| Random dungeons | 15 more entrances in Feybreak, and an open entrance is easier to spot. |
A few smaller lines matter just as much when you compare an old guide with your screen:
- The Free Pal Alliance tower moved to Crescent Moon Shore.
- Predator Pals no longer sit at fixed spots. They now spawn at a low rate across the whole map.
- Lifmunk Effigies became Pal Effigies: you now collect effigies of various Pals to raise your stats. Lifmunk Effigies you already had carry over.
- Red Berry plants are easier to spot and were added at the Sea Breeze Archipelago, Marsh Island, Eastern Wild Island and the Isle of Silence.
- Ore is spread more widely in the overworld, and snowy regions give more Pure Quartz.
- The edge of the playable area around Palpagos was adjusted along with the new building at sea.
- The notes list "Forgotten Island", "Island of Chilling Winds" and "Windswept Hills, Plateau of Beginnings" as renamed, so place names in older guides may not match your map.
The Interactive Maps That Cover 1.0
Neither of the two sites below is an official Pocketpair map; paldb says in its footer that it is fan-made and not affiliated with Pocketpair. Players collect the markers, so treat them as a strong hint, not a promise. Everything here is what we saw on 4 November 2026.
palworld.gg has two tabs: Palpagos and World Tree. On the Palpagos tab you can filter by:
- Locations: Fast Travel, Syndicate Tower, Alpha Pals, Dungeon, Sealed Realm, Bounty Targets
- Collectibles: Treasure Chest, Element Chest, Skill Fruit, Note
- Effigies, split by Pal (Lifmunk, Rooby, Lunaris, Depresso and more)
- Eggs by type, including Sakurajima and Sky Island eggs
- NPCs, Merchants and Pal Merchants
- Materials: Ore, Coal, Sulfur, Pure Quartz, Paldium, Soralite, Red Berries, Mushrooms, Crude Oil
- A location layer for each Pal
Sunreach is part of the Palpagos tab: that is where the Soralite and Sky Island Egg filters sit. The World Tree tab has its own filters, including Pal Effigy, Skill Fruit and Paloxite. The page shows no version number or update date, and we found no separate filter for Watchtowers or Ancient Ruins, so use the in-game map for those.
paldb.cc has a Palpagos Islands map and a separate World Tree map, next to its database pages, breeding calculator and the in-game help texts. Its version box read v1.0.5, dated 15 September 2026. That was also the latest patch in Pocketpair's Steam news when we checked: v1.0.5, a bug fix release.
What the In-Game Map Does Better Since 1.0
Before you open a second screen, check what the game already shows. These changes from the 1.0 changelog help when you use the in-game map:
- Watchtowers reveal the map around them and become fast travel points. Since v1.0.4, using the same Watchtower again reveals the area if it still shows as unexplored.
- Fast travel from the map: inside base range you can travel to your bases or to Great Eagle Statues straight from the map, without walking to the Palbox. Pocketpair also added more fast travel points.
- Respawning lets you pick a fast travel point, not just your base or the starting point.
- Guild Marker: a marker you share with your guild, next to your own custom markers.
- Hidden icons: bosses and Great Eagle Statues below cliffs or inside caves get their own mark.
- Raids: a base under attack gets a mark on the map.
- Towers you have cleared show in a different color.
For Pals, the Paldeck is the in-game source. Its help text, as paldb shows it, says "Information about Pals you've caught or seen will be recorded, allowing you to research where certain Pals inhabit." For effigies, the reworked Partner Skill of Nox now detects nearby Pal Effigies when you activate it.
How to Use a Palworld Interactive Map in 1.0
- Check the version first. Look for a World Tree map and for Soralite or Paloxite filters. A map without them was probably not updated for 1.0, and its Pal layers are likely older than the spawn rebalance.
- Open it on a second screen or your phone, turn every layer off, then switch on only what you hunt. palworld.gg had over 1,400 treasure chest markers on its Palpagos tab alone, so a map with every layer on is unreadable.
- Find your position from a fast travel point, a tower or a Watchtower near you.
- Take Watchtowers first in a new region. You get the terrain and a fast travel point in one stop.
- Plan one route for several targets, for example an Alpha Pal, a Skill Fruit tree and a cluster of ore on the same side of the island.
- Copy the target into the game as a custom marker, or as a Guild Marker when you play together, so you do not have to alt-tab every minute.
Finding Pals, Dungeons, Bosses and Ores After 1.0
Pals. Spawns changed everywhere, so ignore spawn guides from before July 2026. Each of the seven new islands and the three Wildlife Sanctuaries has Pals you only find there. Predator Pals can show up anywhere now, so a predator marker on a community map only shows where someone once met one. If you still need to pick a team, our best Pals guide helps.
Dungeons. Version 1.0 added 15 random dungeon entrances in Feybreak and made an open entrance easier to see. Sealed Realms now look different depending on how strong the boss inside is. Our dungeon locations guide has more.
Towers and bosses. Sunreach has its own tower bosses, the Free Pal Alliance tower is at Crescent Moon Shore now, and in Pocketpair's words 1.0 "removed the Great Eagle Statue from the top of the tower bosses, improving map visibility." See our tower bosses guide for the fights.
Ores. Pocketpair puts it plainly: "Soralite can only be mined in Sunreach, and Paloxite only at the World Tree." Turn on those filters only once you can reach those areas. Our resource locations guide covers the rest.
Why the Map Is Wrong on Some Servers
On a dedicated server, the world settings can make a community map wrong. These parameters come from Pocketpair's server configuration page:
| Parameter | Pocketpair's description | Effect on a community map |
|---|---|---|
RandomizerType | Pal spawn randomization mode: None, Region (randomize per region) or All (fully randomized) | With Region or All, the Pal layers do not match your world |
RandomizerSeed | Seed value used when Pal spawn randomization is enabled | Only used when randomization is on |
bIsRandomizerPalLevelRandom | True: wild Pal levels are fully random. False: random within each area's intended range | When true, level ranges on maps stop applying |
bEnableFastTravel | Enable fast travel | Off means fast travel markers are only landmarks |
bEnableFastTravelOnlyBaseCamp | Restrict fast travel to between bases only | Only travel between bases works |
bAllowEnemyCampSpawnNearBaseCamp | Whether to allow enemy bases to spawn near player bases (added in v1.0.3) | When allowed, enemy camps can appear next to your base |
The 1.0 notes also say the random spawn mode no longer carries over placement data from v0.7.3 and earlier. If your group wants map markers to line up, keep RandomizerType at None. On a Space-Node Palworld server you edit PalWorldSettings.ini directly, and changes apply on the next restart. Before you invite a guild, our map and base location guide helps you spread bases over the map.
One more thing to plan for: Pocketpair has announced the next update, "Palworld: Side by Side", for Winter 2026. When it lands, check the version of your map site again before you trust its markers.
FAQ
Is there an interactive map for Palworld 1.0? Yes. On 4 November 2026, palworld.gg and paldb.cc both had a World Tree map next to the main Palpagos map. palworld.gg had filters for 1.0 ores such as Soralite and Paloxite, and paldb listed game version v1.0.5. Check the version or the filters on any map you use.
Where is Sunreach on the Palworld map? Pocketpair describes Sunreach as islands floating above Palpagos. On palworld.gg it is part of the Palpagos tab, which is where the Soralite and Sky Island Egg filters sit.
Why is a Pal not where the interactive map says?
Palworld 1.0 rebalanced Pal habitats across the whole world, so markers from before July 2026 are out of date. On a server with RandomizerType set to Region or All, spawns are randomized and community Pal layers do not apply. Predator Pals have no fixed spots at all.
Can I see where Pals live in the game itself? Yes, through the Paldeck. Its help text says it records Pals you have caught or seen and lets you research where they live. For Pals you have not met yet, a community map is the faster route.
How do Watchtowers work in Palworld? Using a Watchtower reveals the map around it and turns it into a fast travel point. Since v1.0.4, using it again reveals the area if it still shows as unexplored.
Is the World Tree on the same map as Palpagos? No. Both map sites give it a separate map, and Pocketpair's v1.0.4 notes mention switching maps on the in-game map screen.
