Cheap Minecraft Server Hosting EU & NA from €0.90/GB
Start a cheap Minecraft server without port forwarding, command lines, or waiting queues. Pick Java or Bedrock, install Paper, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, or a modpack, then invite your friends.
Quick answer: Minecraft servers start at €2.70 a month for 3GB on Standard (€0.90 per GB, Ryzen 9 3900X-class) and €5.25 for 3GB on Premium (Ryzen 9 9950X), with NVMe storage and DDoS protection on every plan. The plan selector below measures your ping to every region live from your browser, so you can see which location is closest before you order. Every plan has no hard player cap, backups you make yourself in the panel, and DDoS protection built in. Automatic off-site backups are an optional add-on at checkout.

No fluff checklist
The three things that decide if Minecraft feels smooth
Most hosting pages bury this under long paragraphs. For Minecraft, the buying decision is mostly RAM, CPU single-thread speed, and whether you need DDoS protection.
RAM
4GB is fine for small vanilla. 8GB starts feeling comfortable for modpacks. 12-16GB is where heavy packs stop fighting the garbage collector.
CPU
Standard EU lists Ryzen 9 3900X-class performance. Premium is for heavier tick loops. North America is there when your player base is mostly North American.
Protection
Standard keeps price low. Premium includes stronger mitigation out of the box for public communities.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your Minecraft server hosting plan at any time, whether you're switching from Standard to Premium or moving between RAM tiers. Remaining days are automatically adjusted in the next billing cycle.
- Standard plans run on AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPUs with DDR4 RAM and standard DDoS protection, great value for most servers at €0.90 per GB of RAM a month. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium plans run on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes with DDR5 RAM, enterprise NVMe drives, Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS mitigation and 600 to 800% CPU (6 to 8 vCores) under fair use, at €1.75 per GB on most sizes. Premium is also sold in the USA (Ryzen 9 9950X) and Australia (Ryzen 9 5950X). Premium is ideal for 1.21+ servers, heavy modpacks, and communities that need maximum performance and protection.
- Premium costs €1.75 per GB of RAM per month on most sizes: 3GB €5.25, 4GB €6.99, 5GB €8.75, 6GB €10.50, 8GB €13.99, 12GB €21.99, 15GB €26.25, 16GB €27.99 and 32GB €56.99. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes with DDR5 RAM, NVMe storage and Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS protection. Australia (Sydney) has the same Premium prices on Ryzen 9 5950X nodes with standard DDoS protection. In the USA (California and Virginia) Premium runs on Ryzen 9 9950X nodes with DDR5 and Magic Transit for €0.10 per GB more (8GB €14.79), next to the Standard line on the Ryzen 9 7950X3D from €1.00 per GB.
- Yes! Every server includes a free Minecraft server subdomain like yourname.mymcserver.nl. You can choose between .nl, .be, or .eu domains, all manageable directly from your control panel.
- Yes, on every plan and in every region at no extra cost. Servers in the USA and on the Premium tier in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada are protected by Cloudflare Magic Transit. Standard plans and our Singapore, Australia and India nodes use standard DDoS protection. There is no paid DDoS add-on. If your server experiences sustained attacks, our support team will work with you on the best solution.
- We use a standard 30-day billing cycle from the moment your server is delivered. If you select a longer billing term upfront, the next payment date adjusts accordingly.
- Yes. All plans support Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Spigot, Paper, Purpur and more. For All The Mods 10, RLCraft, Pixelmon, Create or any other modpack, pick the loader in the panel, then install the pack from the panel's modpack installer or upload its server files over SFTP. Our modded Minecraft server hosting page lists the RAM we suggest for each pack.
- We recommend 12GB for ATM10 with up to 5 players, 16GB for 5 to 15 players and 32GB past that. The official ATM10 server files set an 8GB Java heap and Java needs memory on top of it, so 8GB plans are too tight. Our MC Special 1 (12GB) and Special 3 (16GB) plans are the usual picks; the All The Mods 10 hosting page has the details.
- We run Minecraft servers in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India, and Australia (Sydney). Choose the Netherlands for EU players, Canada for a central North American hub, USA (California) if most of your players are on the US West Coast, Singapore for Asia-Pacific communities, or Australia for Oceania players. The public choice is simple: pick the closest region, then choose Standard or Premium based on how much performance and protection you need.
- Yes. Our USA node runs in California on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D hardware with DDR5 memory, protected by Cloudflare Magic Transit. Right now it runs on launch pricing of €1.00 per GB. Order during the launch window and that rate stays locked for your plan, only new orders will later move to roughly €1.25 to €1.50 per GB. Pick it in the region selector above if most of your players are on the US West Coast. For a broader North American audience, our Canada node is the more central option.
- Yes. We offer nine regions: Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India, and Australia (Sydney). Pick your region in the plan selector above when ordering. Moving a server to another of our locations later is free about once a week; ask in live chat and we move it for you.
- Yes. We support both Singapore and Australia (Sydney) as locations. Both run AMD Ryzen 9 5950X hardware with NVMe storage and DDoS protection included as a single Premium tier. Due to hardware availability, the exact CPU model can occasionally vary between similar Ryzen 9 chips, but single-thread performance, which matters most for Minecraft's tick rate, stays similar or higher. Select Singapore or Australia in the region picker above and we will show you a live latency check to that server before you order. More detail in our Australia guide and Singapore guide.
- We offer premium hardware (Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPUs, NVMe SSD), instant setup, and better pricing than many big-name hosts. Our Premium tier with Ryzen 9 9950X nodes and Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS protection is unmatched at this price point. No gimmicks, just performance.
- Yes! If our standard plans don't fit your needs, contact us via the chat on this site, support ticket, or our contact page. We offer custom RAM/storage configurations and dedicated server solutions for large networks and enterprises.
- Space-Node is ideal for beginners with one-click mod/plugin installation, a simple control panel, free subdomain (.mymcserver.nl), and chat support. Our MC Coal plan (3GB, €2.70/month) is perfect for getting started with friends.
- MC Coal: 3GB of RAM for €2.70 a month, which is where the €0.90 per GB comes from. It is sized for 3 to 5 players on Minecraft versions up to 1.20.4, with 10 to 20 plugins. For 1.21 and newer, or for light modpacks, MC Iron (4GB, €3.60 a month) is the next step. In the USA the launch price is €1.00 per GB, so 3GB costs €3.00 there.
- At Space-Node, a Minecraft server costs between €2.70 and €56.99 per month depending on RAM and tier. A typical SMP for 10-20 friends costs €4.50-7.20/month (5-8GB Standard). A heavily modded ATM10 server costs €10.80 to €27.99/month (12 to 16GB). Premium plans with Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS mitigation start at €5.25/month.
- Space-Node is the best paid alternative to Aternos. For just €2.70/month, you get a server that is always online 24/7, uses NVMe SSD storage, has full mod support, and no ads or queue times. Aternos has limited performance, ads, and your server goes offline when no one is playing.
- For Minecraft server hardware requirements in 2026: Vanilla (1-10 players): 3-4GB RAM. Vanilla (20-50 players): 5-8GB RAM. Modded (ATM10, Prominence II): 8-16GB RAM. Large networks (100+ players): 16-32GB RAM. CPU single-thread performance matters most, and our AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class processors provide top-tier per-core speed. All plans include NVMe SSD for fast chunk loading.
- The best CPU for a Minecraft server in 2026 is one with high single-thread performance, since Minecraft's main game loop runs on a single core. Our Premium tier runs on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (Zen 5) nodes, which AMD lists with a max boost clock of 5.7GHz. Standard plans run on AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPUs, which are also excellent.
- Yes. In Europe we host in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, and we also have Canada, USA (California and Virginia), Singapore, India and Australia for players on other continents. Plans start at €2.70/month with NVMe SSD, full mod support, and DDoS protection included. You pick the region in the plan picker before ordering and the server is set up there right away.
- The easiest way to make a Minecraft server in 2026: 1) Choose a hosting plan at Space-Node (from €2.70/month). 2) Select your plan based on player count and mods. 3) Pick your server type (Paper, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge). 4) Your server is instantly deployed with a free subdomain. 5) Share the IP with friends and play. No port forwarding or command line needed.
- Yes, absolutely! You can transfer your world from any old hosting provider or Aternos. You can use our web-based file manager or secure SFTP for larger worlds (over 1GB) to easily upload your map.
- Yes! Our services support all custom modpacks. We even feature a one-click modpack installer in our panel. For heavy modpacks like GregTech New Horizons (GTNH) or All The Mods 10 (ATM10), we recommend our MC Special 1 plan or higher.
- We do not offer free trials. We recommend starting with one of our affordable standard plans to try out our services, and you can always upgrade later if you need more resources.
- The CPU is shared on every plan, Standard and Premium, while the RAM in your plan is reserved for your server. Premium plans in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada get 600 to 800% CPU (6 to 8 vCores) under fair use and run on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes. Minecraft leans on single-thread speed much more than on the number of cores, which is why we run Ryzen 9 CPUs with high per-core performance.
- Yes! You can easily upgrade to a higher tier plan at any time from your client area. Your files and world will remain completely intact during the upgrade.
- Yes, you can easily add datapacks. Just upload them to your world's `datapacks` folder using our file manager or SFTP.
- You can use our plans calculator to find the right plan. All our plans support Bedrock edition directly, or you can use Java hosting with Geyser to allow both PC and mobile players to join the same server.
- Every plan includes 3 port allocations: the game port plus two more that you add yourself in the panel, at no cost. Geyser for Bedrock players and Simple Voice Chat usually each get their own. If you need more, ask us and we can raise it to 5.
- Yes! We provide one-click installers for popular modpacks and plugins directly in the server control panel.
- Yes. Alongside our primary EU node in the Netherlands, connected to AMS-IX, we also run Germany, Poland, North America, Singapore, India, and Australia (Sydney) locations, so most regions get a genuinely close server rather than one distant EU node. Minecraft server hosting from Space-Node starts at just €2.70/month on AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class hardware with NVMe SSD storage.
- Yes. Our Netherlands node serves Western Europe with low latency: WonderNetwork's medians in late September 2026 were about 8ms from London (UK guide) and about 13ms from Paris (France guide) to Amsterdam. German players can also pick our Germany node (Germany guide). For Minecraft, anything under 40ms feels smooth. Players in Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, Spain, Italy and Poland also get reliable connections from our EU nodes. See our full Netherlands Minecraft hosting guide for details.
- In Europe we host in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. In all three, Standard plans start at €2.70 a month for 3GB (€0.90 per GB) on AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPUs with NVMe SSD storage, and Premium starts at €5.25 a month for 3GB with DDR5 memory and Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS protection. Pick the country closest to your players in the plan selector.
- Both are safe when you stick to the platform's own download and search, since both scan uploads for malware. See our full breakdown of whether Modrinth is safe and whether CurseForge is safe. Modrinth is open source and has a stricter review process, CurseForge has a larger library including many older and modpack-exclusive mods, our Modrinth vs CurseForge comparison covers the practical differences. For most players the honest answer is to check both rather than pick one exclusively.
- It depends on which mod loader the specific mods or modpack you want actually target, they are not interchangeable. See our Forge vs NeoForge comparison and Fabric vs NeoForge comparison for which one fits your modpack. NeoForge is the actively developed successor to Forge and most new Forge-ecosystem mods now target it. Fabric is lighter weight and often used for performance-focused or newer modpacks.
- There is no such thing as genuinely free Minecraft server hosting with 24/7 uptime and 8GB RAM. Services that advertise this either limit your uptime, throttle performance, display ads, or shut your server down when nobody is online. Space-Node's 8GB Standard plan (MC Diamond) costs €7.20/month. That is €0.90/GB and gives you real 24/7 uptime, NVMe SSD, and AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class hardware. For the equivalent of a coffee per week, you get a server that actually stays online.
- Our MC Special 1 plan gives you 12GB DDR4 RAM for €10.80/month (€0.90/GB). It runs 24/7 on NVMe SSD with AMD Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPU, supports heavy modpacks like ATM10 and DeceasedCraft, and has no ads or queue times. For 12GB with our Premium tier (DDR5, Cloudflare Magic Transit DDoS mitigation), the MC Special 1 Premium is €21.99/month.
- Yes. Every single Space-Node Minecraft hosting plan, from the 3GB Standard entry plan to the 32GB Premium plan, uses NVMe SSD storage. NVMe drives load chunks noticeably faster than traditional SATA SSDs, which means less lag when exploring or generating new areas. This is standard on all plans at no extra cost.
- Ja, absoluut. Onze server infrastructuur is wereldwijd verspreid.
- It depends on where you live and how your internet provider routes the traffic, but a connection that crosses the Atlantic always adds noticeable delay. You feel it most in competitive PvP; survival, creative and modpack play cope better. If most of your players are in North America, pick Canada in the region selector above, or USA (California) or USA (Virginia). The selector measures your ping to every region live from your browser, so you can compare the numbers yourself before you order.
- NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) is a type of SSD storage that reads and writes data significantly faster than standard SATA SSDs. For Minecraft servers, this matters most for world loading, chunk generation, and database queries. A server on NVMe storage can load a saved world or generate new chunks noticeably faster than one running on HDD or even SATA SSD. All Space-Node Minecraft hosting plans use enterprise NVMe SSD by default.
- Yes. Aternos shuts your server down when no players are connected, has ads, and puts you in a queue. Space-Node runs your server 24/7 with no ads, no queue, and no sleep mode. Plans start at €2.70/month for 3GB RAM. For players who want a server always ready to join, paid hosting like Space-Node is the only real solution. We also support all modpacks and versions that Aternos does, and more.
