A useful MC server host comparison starts with your setup: Minecraft version, server software, mods or plugins, world size and where your friends play. Compare what each package includes before choosing by RAM alone.
We sell Minecraft server hosting, so we have a commercial interest here. The questions below give you a way to compare our plans with another provider's published offer.
What to check before ordering
| Area | Ask the host |
|---|---|
| CPU and memory | Which CPU serves this region? Is CPU shared or dedicated, and is the plan's RAM reserved? |
| Software | Can I run my exact Minecraft version, loader and modpack? Can I change Java and startup settings? |
| Files and backups | Can I download the world, create a backup and restore it myself? Are automatic backups included or extra? |
| Location | Can I test the connection from my own network before choosing a region? |
| Support and cost | When is support available? What will the plan cost to renew or upgrade? |
Ask for a sizing recommendation based on your actual setup. Treat a listed player count as guidance, and check how the provider arrived at it. Keep your own copy of an existing world before moving hosts.
Space-Node Standard and Premium
Every Space-Node Minecraft plan has shared CPU cores, reserved RAM, NVMe storage and DDoS protection. Premium does not give you dedicated CPU cores.
In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Standard lists Ryzen 9 3900X-class hardware with DDR4; Premium lists Ryzen 9 9950X-class hardware with DDR5 and Cloudflare Magic Transit protection. Exact hardware can vary as described in the plan selector.
There are nine regions: the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA California, USA Virginia, Singapore, India and Australia. The other regions have their own hardware and tier availability, so check your selected location rather than assuming the European comparison applies everywhere.
Panel backups are available for you to make yourself. Automatic off-site backups are an optional add-on. Our support window is 12/7, daily from 08:00 to 20:00 UTC.
If you are moving because of lag
Gather evidence before changing packages. Paper's official documentation recommends its bundled spark profiler, available from Paper 1.21, and says to profile while the problem is happening. A report gives you something concrete to discuss with support. PaperMC profiling guide
Bring that report, your plugin or mod list and recent memory readings when requesting advice. Choose the next plan around what the server needs, then check it again during normal play.
