A good seed makes or breaks a server's early experience. Players want interesting terrain near spawn: villages, biome variety, and useful structures within walking distance. Here are seeds tested on Java Edition 1.21+ that work great for multiplayer servers.
What Makes a Good Server Seed
- Diverse biomes near spawn: Players want forests, plains, mountains, and oceans accessible
- Village at or near spawn: Gives new players an immediate place to settle
- Flat-ish spawn area: Room to build a spawn town
- Nearby structures: Stronghold, ocean monument, pillager outpost within 1000 blocks
- Portal room accessible: Nether portal frames not buried under lava

All-Biome Spawn

Spawn drops you between plains, forest, desert, savanna, and mountains. A village sits within 200 blocks. Ocean is 500 blocks east. Perfect spread of biomes for a diverse server experience.
Mega Village

Two villages merge together at spawn creating a large pre-built settlement. Plains biome with river access. Good starting point for town-based servers.
Island Survival

- Stop the server
- Delete or rename the
