How Much Does a FiveM Server Cost in India in 2026?

Your friends want a GTA RP city, and before anyone chips in, the group wants one number: what it costs each month. Hosting is only one line on that bill. Slots above 48, paid scripts and maps, a domain and the hours you put in all add to it, and almost every line is priced in euros or dollars, not rupees. This guide prices each line as of 30 October 2026 and ends with three example budgets. To set the city up, read our guide to FiveM hosting in India.

Rupee amounts here are indications at the ECB reference rates of 29 October 2026: €1 = ₹106.03 and €1 = $1.1130, which makes $1 about ₹95.27. You pay in the seller's currency, and your bank or card sets the rate you actually get.

Quick answer: Hosting in Mumbai costs €3.99 to €11.99 a month (about ₹423 to ₹1,271) for a city of up to 48 players, and the server software, the Cfx.re license key, txAdmin and the ESX Legacy and Qbox frameworks are free. Above 48 slots, Cfx.re's Element Club adds $15 a month plus VAT (about ₹1,429 before VAT). Paid scripts and maps are optional: the newest listings on the official Cfx Marketplace ran from $7.13 to $172.54, and Gabz rents its whole map library for €15 per 30 days. A domain is optional too, so a small friends' city can start for the hosting price alone.

What Costs Nothing

The software side of a FiveM city is free:

• Server and key: the server build is a direct download from Cfx.re's Server Download page, and the setup guide tells you to "register a free license key on the Cfx Portal". Our Cfx Portal key guide shows the clicks.
• Server manager: txAdmin, the official FiveM server management platform, is open source under the MIT licence.
• Framework: ESX Legacy's core resource es_extended and Qbox's qbx_core are both published under GPL-3.0. Our ESX vs QBCore vs Qbox comparison helps you choose.
• Core scripts: free resources cover a lot, such as ox_inventory, a GPL-3.0 slot-based inventory that supports ESX and Qbox. Our free scripts guide lists where to find more and which downloads to avoid, such as cracked copies of paid scripts.
• A way in: players do not need a domain. Cfx.re's console command docs show connect taking an IP address and port or a join link, such as connect 127.0.0.1:30120 or connect cfx.re/join/y4lg95.

What you pay for is a machine that runs all of this every evening, slots beyond the free 48, the content you choose to buy, and your own time.

Hosting in Mumbai: The Monthly Base

Space-Node's India FiveM plans run in Mumbai on a Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPU shared with other servers on the node, with DDR4 memory, NVMe storage and DDoS protection on every plan. Prices as of 30 October 2026:

Paying yearly saves 10%. The checkout also offers add-ons: automatic off-site backups for €5.00 a month (about ₹530), extra RAM from €2.00 a month for 1 GB, and a one-time migration of your existing server for €15.00. You pay in euros by bank transfer, card or PayPal; UPI is not offered. The checkout shows prices with VAT and notes that "VAT is calculated for your billing country", so check the total there before you pay. Slots Above 48: Element Club

The slot limit comes from Cfx.re, not from your host. "By default, your server supports up to 48 players using OneSync Infinity," says fivem.net, and Cfx.re's hosting provider guide adds that "to use more than 48 slots, you will need FiveM Element Club Argentum" or a higher tier. On 30 October 2026 fivem.net listed:

This is where a bigger city gets expensive. Moving from FIVEM-Small (48 slots) to FIVEM-Middle (64 slots) adds €4.00 of hosting, about ₹424, but Argentum adds about ₹1,429 plus VAT on top. If your peak sits just above 48, the subscription costs more than three times the extra hosting.

Subscribe on the Cfx.re account whose license key your server uses. Cfx.re's server issues page then says to use the latest server artifact, set sv_maxclients above 48 for your tier and restart, and fivem.net warns that perks can take up to 6 hours to activate. Every tier also lists "Stream custom clothing" among its perks, so if your city will use add-on clothing such as an EUP pack, check that perk before you count on running without a subscription.

Paid Scripts and Maps

Paid resources are optional. Escrowed ones are encrypted and tied to the buyer: Cfx.re's asset escrow page says escrowed assets "can only be distributed via a Tebex package" and that "The server owner must purchase your content to be eligible to run your resource." Buy them on the Cfx.re account that owns your server key; on a server whose owner did not buy it, the resource will not start and the console shows "You lack the required entitlement".

Prices come in three shapes. All were checked on 30 October 2026:

• One-time scripts: Wasabi Scripts, which states all prices in USD, listed its police job, ambulance job and MDT at $49.99 each (about ₹4,763), the regular price shown next to a sale price that ran until 31 October. JG Scripts showed about $40 for Advanced Garages v4 and about $80 for Mechanic.
• The official marketplace: the Cfx Marketplace calls itself "The Official Rockstar Modding UGC Marketplace for RedM & FiveM" and names Tebex as merchant. Its newest listings ran from $9.51 to $172.54 for scripts and from $7.13 to $59.49 for maps, plus one free item. FM SHOP's Mission Row Police Department and Los Santos Medical Center, MLOs for a police station and a hospital, were $52.35 each (about ₹4,987).
• Subscriptions: Gabz gives access to all of its maps for €15 (Silver) or €20 (Gold), renewed every 30 days; if you cancel, Gabz removes the package from your Keymaster and your access ends until you subscribe again. JG Scripts offers its full collection for about $33.50 a month. Cfx.re's escrow page adds that when a subscription expires, the asset "will no longer start on the user's server."

None of these stores shows rupee prices. JG Scripts says its displayed prices "may be estimates" and that checkout "will always be in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD or AUD", so the final amount depends on the exchange rate your bank or payment provider uses, plus any fee your card charges on foreign currency payments. Check your card's schedule of charges before a big purchase.

A Domain Is Optional

You need a domain for a website or a rules page, not for the game, since the join link and your server's IP address work without one. At Porkbun on 30 October 2026, a .in domain cost $7.83 a year to register or renew (about ₹746, or ₹62 a month) and a .com cost $11.08 a year (about ₹1,056).

Selling Perks: Tebex Takes a Share

If players want to support the city, Cfx.re's Tebex page calls Tebex "the exclusive monetization partner of FiveM" and says "The use of any other platform or payment provider is prohibited". On 30 October 2026, a store cost £0 a month on Tebex's Starter plan, but the same page listed a platform fee of "15% for FiveM", against 5% for other games, and Tebex's fees page adds a 2.49% gateway fee for PayPal and cards. Its own example: on a $23.99 payment to a store with a 15% platform fee, the platform fee is $3.60. Together that leaves you about 82.5% of a card or PayPal payment before withdrawal fees; use that figure to work out how many supporters cover the hosting.

Your Time

The cost that never arrives as an invoice is your time. Before launch you deploy a framework, test each script on its own, write rules and set up the allowlist. After launch you update the server artifact when a script or a Cfx.re feature needs a newer build (our artifacts guide), check that backups restore (our backup guide), and handle reports and bans with your staff (our community admin guide). Much of it happens when your players are online, in the IST evening.

Money can buy some of that time back: a paid script that comes with support, the backup add-on, or the migration service when you move hosts. If you hire a developer, agree on the price per task in writing and buy every asset on your own Cfx.re account, so the city keeps working after the developer leaves.

Pick the column that matches your busiest evening, not your Discord member count. If you do not know yet whether players will stay, run the friends' test city for a month with free scripts, then move to a bigger plan when the numbers show it. Add Element Club only when your peak passes 48 or you need its custom clothing perk, and add paid content one job at a time, because every subscription in the table renews whether your city is busy that month or not.

FAQ

Can I run a FiveM server in India for free? The software and the key are free, so you can run the server on your own PC. fivem.net recommends "a x86-64 system running Linux or Windows (7/2008 R2+), decent upstream connectivity and preferably a multi-core processor." That PC has to stay on whenever the city is open, and players connect to your home internet connection. Our free hosting guide compares the other free options.

Can I pay in rupees or with UPI? Not for the Mumbai hosting above: it is billed in euros by bank transfer, card or PayPal, and UPI is not offered. Element Club is priced in dollars, and script stores check out in their own currencies, such as USD, GBP, EUR, CAD or AUD at JG Scripts. Your bank converts each payment at its own rate.

Is GST added to these prices? It depends on the seller. The hosting checkout calculates VAT for your billing country, so the total there is the euro amount you pay. fivem.net lists Element Club prices plus VAT. For stores on Tebex Checkout, Tebex resells the goods itself and charges sales tax where it is registered; India was not on its list of countries on 30 October 2026, and Tebex notes that it may have to charge sales taxes in other regions as rules change.

Do bought scripts move with me if I change hosts? They follow your Cfx.re account, not the host. Escrow checks that the server's owner bought the resource, so keep using a license key from the account that made the purchase when you move. Subscriptions stop when they lapse.
