For exaroton players
The exaroton Alternative With One Monthly Price
exaroton charges for every hour your server runs, which suits short sessions. When your server should be online for a good part of the day, a monthly plan costs less for the same RAM. Premium runs on a Ryzen 9 9950X, the CPU exaroton names for its main nodes.

- Premium 4 GB Ryzen 9 9950X, DDR5€6.99
- Premium 8 GB Ryzen 9 9950X, DDR5€13.99

CPU matters
Minecraft cares about single-thread speed. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs Ryzen 9 9950X and Standard Ryzen 9 3900X-class. California and Virginia run the 7950X3D on Standard and the 9950X on Premium, Singapore and Australia the 5950X, and India the 3900X-class. The CPU is shared on every plan.
Protection choices
DDoS protection is included on every plan in every region. Premium in Europe and Canada and every USA plan run behind Cloudflare Magic Transit; Standard, Singapore, Australia and India use standard protection. There is no paid add-on.
Panel included
Console, files, backups, schedules, startup flags, and sub-users are ready.
9 regions
Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India (Mumbai), and Australia. EU, NA, Asia, South Asia, and Oceania covered.

What changes when you leave exaroton
Paying per hour and paying per month suit different groups. These are the four things that change on a monthly plan. The exaroton side comes from exaroton's own pages, linked under each point.
How you pay
On exaroton
Credits for every hour the server runs: 1 credit per GB of RAM per hour, and a credit is worth €0.01. exaroton calls it “Don't pay when you sleep. Only pay to play.”
Source: exaroton help: Pricing, exaroton.com
On a Space-Node server
One monthly price per plan, VAT included, however many hours the server runs. Longer billing terms are cheaper per month at checkout.
When nobody is playing
On exaroton
Credits are only used while the server runs. AutoStop can shut it down once it has been empty for a while and AutoStart starts it when someone joins; both are optional, and a server that stays on keeps using credits.

On a Space-Node server
Nothing to switch on or off. The server stays online 24/7 and the price stays the same.
Storage
On exaroton
Up to 10 GB per server, with a storage fee of 10 credits a month that the credits you spend on running the server cancel out.
Source: exaroton help: Pricing
On a Space-Node server
25 GB to 165 GB of NVMe storage, depending on the plan.
Hardware and location
On exaroton
Main nodes with an AMD Ryzen 9950X and DDR5-5600 RAM; nodes with other hardware may be added when demand is high. Two regions, Europe and North America, without a choice of country or city.

On a Space-Node server
Premium runs on a Ryzen 9 9950X with DDR5 in Europe and North America; the CPU is shared. You choose the location: the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, the USA (California or Virginia), Singapore, India or Australia.

Move your exaroton world in five steps
Your world is yours: exaroton lets you download it, and you upload it in our panel.
- 1
Download the world on exaroton
Ask everyone to log off and type save-all in the exaroton console. Then use the download button for your world while the server is still online; exaroton's help centre says you can download at any time and recommends doing it before you stop the server. Backups in your cloud storage are kept in exaroton's own format, so use the download, not a backup file.
- 2
Order a plan and match the setup
Pick the same server software and Minecraft version in our panel, with at least the RAM you used on exaroton. Start the server once so it creates its files, then stop it.
- 3
Upload the world in the panel
Unzip the world on your computer, delete the fresh world folder the server generated, then upload yours with the file manager in the panel. For worlds over about 1 GB, use SFTP: the address and username are under Settings in the panel, and the password is your panel password.
- 4
Check the folder name and online-mode
The folder name has to match level-name in server.properties, usually world. Keep online-mode the same as on exaroton; changing it can cost players their inventories and positions.
- 5
Add your plugins or mods and start
Install the same plugins or mods, start the server and watch the console. Test with a friend, then give your players the new address, or point your own domain to it.
Rather have us do it?
Add the One-time Server Migration when you order. It costs €15, charged once, and it is meant for moving from another host to Space-Node: our team transfers the world for you. Questions first? Ask in live chat.

When exaroton is still the better pick
Your server runs a few hours a week
Below about 90 hours a month, exaroton costs less than our Standard plan of the same size, and below about 175 hours less than most Premium sizes. For one evening a week, paying per hour is hard to beat.
Friends share the bill
exaroton's credit pools let several people put credits into one server, and every member can take their share back out.
You want to try before you pay
exaroton gives new accounts 5 free credits and needs no payment method for the trial. We have no free trial, so ask in live chat if you are not sure which plan fits.
Moving from exaroton: FAQ
- It depends on how many hours your server runs. exaroton charges 1 credit, worth €0.01, per GB of RAM for every hour, so an 8 GB server costs €0.08 an hour and €57.60 for a 30-day month online all day. MC Diamond on Premium costs €13.99 a month for 8 GB on a Ryzen 9 9950X, however many hours it runs. - No. exaroton is the paid service from the team behind Aternos. New accounts get 5 free credits to test it; after that you buy credits, and a server uses 1 credit per GB of RAM for every hour it runs (exaroton's pricing article). Aternos itself is free; our Aternos alternative page covers moving from there.
- Yes, with AutoStop turned off, but it keeps using credits: an 8 GB server online for a 30-day month uses 5,760 credits, which is €57.60. A Space-Node plan stays online 24/7 for one monthly price, €13.99 for 8 GB on Premium.
- exaroton says its main nodes run an AMD Ryzen 9950X with DDR5-5600 RAM, and that nodes with other hardware may be added when demand is high. Our Premium plans in Europe and North America run on a Ryzen 9 9950X with DDR5. Standard runs on a Ryzen 9 3900X-class CPU with DDR4 for less money. The CPU is shared on every plan.
- Yes. Use the download button for your world on exaroton, then upload it in our panel with the file manager, or over SFTP for big worlds. Use the world download rather than a backup from your cloud storage, because exaroton keeps those backups in its own format. Our guide to moving a Minecraft server lists every folder to copy.
