MC Special 1
- Ryzen 9 3900XShared CPU
- Fresh world, the pack's 8GB heap
- 12GB RAM
- 70GB NVMe
- Pterodactyl panel included
- DDoS Protection Included
ATM9 publishes no player counts. These sizes follow the 8GB heap in its server files plus memory for Java itself; heavy automation needs more.
3 server port allocations included. Up to 5 available on request.
Instant setup in your selected region.
CPU matters
Minecraft cares about single-thread speed. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs Ryzen 9 9950X and Standard Ryzen 9 3900X-class. California and Virginia run the 7950X3D on Standard and the 9950X on Premium, Singapore and Australia the 5950X, and India the 3900X-class. The CPU is shared on every plan.
Protection choices
DDoS protection is included on every plan in every region. Premium in Europe and Canada and every USA plan run behind Cloudflare Magic Transit; Standard, Singapore, Australia and India use standard protection. There is no paid add-on.
Panel included
Console, files, backups, schedules, startup flags, and sub-users are ready.
9 regions
Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India (Mumbai), and Australia. EU, NA, Asia, South Asia, and Oceania covered.

Sized from the server files
How we sized the ATM9 plans
The official ATM9 server files start Java with -Xms4G -Xmx8G in user_jvm_args.txt. Java needs memory on top of that heap for itself, so we keep the heap at about 80 to 85 percent of the plan, as in our guide to exit code 137. An 8GB heap therefore needs a 12GB plan. ATM10's server files set the same heap, so both packs start at 12GB with us. ATM9 gives no player counts, so the sizes below follow the stage of your world.
Our suggestion
Fresh world or small group
MC Special 1, 12GB RAM
Runs the 8GB heap from the official server files as it ships, with room left for Java itself. Raise -Xmx to about 10G once the base grows.
Standard €10.80, Premium €21.99 a month
Grown world
MC Special 3, 16GB RAM
For a world with big automation, machines that keep running and several dimensions loaded at once. Raise -Xmx to 13G or 14G.
Standard €14.40, Premium €27.99 a month
Public server
MC Special 4, 32GB RAM
For many teams at once, each with its own bases and force-loaded chunks. Raise -Xmx to about 26G.
Standard €29.99, Premium €56.99 a month
Two packs, two kinds of server
ATM9 or ATM10?
Both come from the All the Mods team, both start at 12GB with us, and worlds do not carry over between them. ATM9 is far from gone: version 1.1.1 alone has more than 650,000 downloads on CurseForge, and the pack 13.6 million in total (checked 25 October 2026).
Stay on ATM9 if
- Your group already has an ATM9 world and wants to keep it.
- You want to finish its endgame, the ATM Star and the Gregstar, on Minecraft 1.20.1.
- You like a mod list that stays put: the last version, 1.1.1, came out on 12 October 2025.
Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0, Java 17, 418 mods in the server files.
ATM9 plansPick ATM10 if
- You are starting a new world.
- You want a pack that is still updated: ATM10 8.3 came out on 15 October 2026.
- You want the newer mods on Minecraft 1.21.1.
Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.259, Java 21, around 500 mods.
ATM10 server hostingSetup
From order to first join
Step 1
Pick 12GB or more and a region
Your server and control panel login arrive by email after payment.
Step 2
Install Forge, then ATM9
Install Forge 1.20.1-47.4.0 from the panel, unpack Server-Files-1.1.1.zip and upload its contents over SFTP, or use the panel's modpack installer if ATM9 is listed there. Set Java 17 and a heap that fits your plan, start once, accept the EULA in eula.txt and start again.
Step 3
Match the pack version
Players install ATM9 1.1.1 in the CurseForge app, the same version as the server. Better Compatibility Checker shows a check mark in the server list when it matches.
Running the server
ATM9 things worth knowing before you start
The server files cap Java at 8GB
user_jvm_args.txt holds -Xms4G -Xmx8G. If your server starts through that file, Java never uses more than 8GB. On 12GB, raise it to about -Xmx10G; on 16GB, to 13G or 14G, so Java keeps room for itself.
Java 17, as Minecraft 1.20.1 expects
Minecraft 1.20.1 is built for Java 17, and the official start script stops when it finds an older Java. ATM10 is the one that needs Java 21. Pick the Java version in the Startup tab of the panel.
The pack's backup mod is switched off
The server files ship Simple Backups as SimpleBackups-1.20.1-3.1.17.jar.DISABLED, so the pack makes no backups of its own. Take a backup in the panel before every update or mod change; the 1.1.1 release notes say “always remember to backup before updating” too. Panel backups are made by hand; automatic off-site backups are an optional add-on at checkout.
Item Clear is on
Every 5 minutes, dropped items are removed when there are more than 1000 on the ground, with chat warnings first. Farm builders should know this; the setting lives in world/serverconfig/crashutilities-server.toml.
Lag tools are already included
spark and Observable ship with the pack, so you can see which machine or chunk is slowing the server down without installing anything.
Start from the server files
The client pack also carries Oculus, Embeddium and three shader packs, which the server files leave out. Build the server from Server-Files-1.1.1.zip, not from a copy of your own game folder.
Other ATM9 packs
To the Sky and No Frills
Both use the same Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge and Java 17 as ATM9 and ship their own server files, so they run on our Minecraft plans the same way.
ATM9: To the Sky
The skyblock version: you start in the void with only a tree. 1.1.9 (24 April 2026) on Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10, Java 17.
Runs on our plans the same way, from its own server files (ServerFiles-1.1.9.zip, 306 mods). Its default-server.properties sets level-type=skyblockbuilder:skyblock; leave that in place until the world exists. The server files set no Java heap, so set -Xmx to fit your plan.
ATM9: No Frills
ATM9 with many extras removed and the same endgame. 0.2 (24 April 2025) on Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.0, Java 17.
Runs on our plans the same way, from its own server files (Server-Files-0.2.zip, 314 mods). They set no Java heap, so set -Xmx yourself.

ATM9 Hosting FAQ
- We start ATM9 at 12GB (MC Special 1), suggest 16GB (MC Special 3) for a grown world with big automation and 32GB (MC Special 4) for a public server. The official server files give Java an 8GB heap (-Xmx8G in user_jvm_args.txt), and Java needs memory on top of the heap for itself, so we keep the heap at about 80 to 85 percent of the plan. An 8GB plan would have to run the pack below its own heap. ATM9 publishes no player counts or RAM advice of its own.
- The ATM9 server files ship a user_jvm_args.txt with -Xms4G -Xmx8G. If your server starts through that file, Java never uses more than 8GB, whatever your plan. Open user_jvm_args.txt in the file manager and raise -Xmx to fit your plan: about 10G on 12GB and 13G or 14G on 16GB, so Java keeps a couple of GB for itself.
- ATM9 1.1.1 runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.0, not NeoForge. Minecraft 1.20.1 is built for Java 17, and the official start script stops when it finds an older Java. You can pick the Java version in the Startup tab of the panel.
- On the ATM9 CurseForge page, open the Files tab, pick 1.1.1 and look under Additional Files for Server-Files-1.1.1.zip (about 1.1 GB). It holds the start scripts, the Forge 47.4.0 installer, user_jvm_args.txt and the mods, config, defaultconfigs and kubejs folders. Use it instead of a copy of your own game folder: the client pack also carries Oculus, Embeddium and shader packs, which the server files leave out.
- Not often. The newest version is 1.1.1, released on 12 October 2025, and the one before it was 1.1.0 on 11 September 2025 (CurseForge, checked 25 October 2026). The same team still updates All the Mods 10: 8.3 came out on 15 October 2026. A pack that no longer changes has one upside for a server: the mod list and recipes stay as they are.
- No. ATM10 runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge and a different mod list, ATM9 on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, and worlds do not carry over between the two packs. Moving to ATM10 means a new world. If your group wants both, run ATM10 as a second server and keep the ATM9 world where it is.
- For a new server, ATM10: it is on Minecraft 1.21.1 and still gets regular updates. Stay on ATM9 if your group already has a world there, or wants to finish its endgame, the ATM Star and the Gregstar, on Minecraft 1.20.1. Both start at 12GB with us, because both sets of server files set the same 8GB heap.
- Yes. Download the world folder from your old host and upload it over SFTP, set level-name in server.properties to its folder name and make sure the server runs the same ATM9 version the world was last played on. Or add the One-time Server Migration when you order: it costs €15, charged once, and our team transfers the world for you.
- Yes. Everyone needs the exact same pack version as the server, so 1.1.1 on both sides. ATM9 includes Better Compatibility Checker, which shows in the multiplayer list whether a player's pack version matches the server.
- ATM9 ships Crash Utilities with Item Clear turned on. Every 5 minutes it removes dropped items when there are more than 1000 on the ground, with chat warnings 20 and 5 seconds before. The setting lives in world/serverconfig/crashutilities-server.toml, which Forge copies from defaultconfigs when the world is created.
- Yes. Both run on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge and Java 17 like ATM9, and both have their own server files on CurseForge (ServerFiles-1.1.9.zip and Server-Files-0.2.zip), which you upload over SFTP the same way. To the Sky needs level-type=skyblockbuilder:skyblock, which its default-server.properties sets, before the world is created. Neither set of server files sets a Java heap, so set -Xmx to fit your plan.
- The one closest to most of your players. We run ATM9 servers in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, the USA (California and Virginia), Singapore, India and Australia. The plan selector measures your ping to each region live from your browser and suggests the fastest.
- Yes. Our support team answers by live chat, Discord and email, 12/7 from 08:00 to 20:00 UTC, and can look at your startup settings and heap with you.
All the Mods 9 is made by the All the Mods team; Space-Node is not affiliated with it. Pack details from the ATM9 CurseForge page and its server files, checked on 25 October 2026.
