CPU matters

Minecraft cares about single-thread speed. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs Ryzen 9 9950X and Standard Ryzen 9 3900X-class. California and Virginia run the 7950X3D on Standard and the 9950X on Premium, Singapore and Australia the 5950X, and India the 3900X-class. The CPU is shared on every plan.

Protection choices

DDoS protection is included on every plan in every region. Premium in Europe and Canada and every USA plan run behind Cloudflare Magic Transit; Standard, Singapore, Australia and India use standard protection. There is no paid add-on.

Panel included

Console, files, backups, schedules, startup flags, and sub-users are ready.

9 regions

Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India (Mumbai), and Australia. EU, NA, Asia, South Asia, and Oceania covered.

What changes when you leave Minehut

Minehut is free to start and works well for groups that do not mind a server that sleeps. These are the four things that change on a paid server that stays online. The Minehut side comes from Minehut's own pages, linked under each point.

When the last player leaves

On Minehut

Starter, Standard and Pro sleep when the server is empty; Ultimate is listed as online 24/7. Minehut's custom plan guide adds “Online 24/7” to other sizes for 400 credits per GB of RAM a month.

On a Space-Node server

It keeps running. Every plan stays online 24/7 at no extra cost, so friends can join whenever they want.

Price

On Minehut

Starter is free. Paid plans cost credits: Standard 600 a month, Pro 1,800 and Ultimate 6,000, or 6,000, 18,000 and 60,000 a year. The store sells credit subscriptions from 800 credits for $5.00 a month to 9,400 credits for $50.00.

What a server that stays online costs

Two sizes that stay online 24/7, side by side. Minehut prices its plans in credits and sells credits in US dollars; our prices are monthly prices for Europe in euros, VAT included.

6 GB, online 24/7

On Minehut

Move your Minehut world in five steps

Your world is yours: Minehut lets you download it, and you upload it in our panel.

  1. 1

    Download the world on Minehut

Activate your server on minehut.com and open the File Manager. Click your world folder, select its files and press Download at the bottom, as Minehut's help centre describes. If you also see world_nether and world_the_end, download those too.

  2. 2

Order a plan and match the setup

Pick the same server software and Minecraft version in our panel. Start the server once so it creates its files, then stop it.

  3. 3

Upload the world in the panel

Put the world files in one folder on your computer, delete the fresh world folder the server generated, then upload yours with the file manager in the panel. For worlds over about 1 GB, use SFTP: the address and username are under Settings in the panel, and the password is your panel password.

  4. 4

Check the folder name and online-mode

The folder name has to match level-name in server.properties, usually world. Keep online-mode the same as on Minehut; changing it can cost players their inventories and positions.

  5. 5

    Add your plugins and start

Install the same plugins, start the server and watch the console. Test with a friend, then give your players the new address.

Rather have us do it?

Add the One-time Server Migration when you order. It costs €15, charged once, and it is meant for moving from another host to Space-Node: our team transfers the world for you. Questions first? Ask in live chat.

When Minehut is still the better pick

You want to start for free

Minehut's Starter plan costs nothing and, in Minehut's words, needs “no credit card”: 1 GB for up to 10 players. If a server that sleeps when empty is fine for your group, that is hard to beat.

You want players to find you

Minehut's plan page invites you to “get discovered and grow” on its network, and its home page lists featured and popular servers. With us, your server has its own address, and players find it through your Discord, a server list or friends.
