CPU matters
Minecraft cares about single-thread speed. In the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Canada, Premium runs Ryzen 9 9950X. Standard runs the AMD EPYC 7443 in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland and Ryzen 9 3900X-class in Canada. California and Virginia run the 7950X3D on Standard and the 9950X on Premium, Singapore and Australia the 5950X, and India the 3900X-class. The CPU is shared on every plan.
Protection choices
DDoS protection is included on every plan in every region. Premium in Europe and Canada and every USA plan run behind Cloudflare Magic Transit; Standard, Singapore, Australia and India use standard protection. There is no paid add-on.
Panel included
Console, files, backups, schedules, startup flags, and sub-users are ready.
9 regions
Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, USA (California), USA (Virginia), Singapore, India (Mumbai), and Australia. EU, NA, Asia, South Asia, and Oceania covered.

Sized from the server files
How we sized the Craftoria plans
The Craftoria server files start Java with maxRam 5G and minRam 3G in server-setup-config.yaml. Those are the same values as in the template of the tool they use, so they may be a default rather than the team's own advice. Java needs memory on top of the heap for itself, so we keep the heap at about 80 to 85 percent of the plan, as in our guide to exit code 137; PaperMC gives 6500MB for 8GB. On 6GB that rule gives exactly the shipped 5G with no room to grow, so for a pack with about 500 mods we start at 8GB and suggest 12GB. Craftoria gives no player counts, so the sizes below follow the stage of your world.
Fresh world or small group
MC Diamond, 8GB RAM
Runs the 5GB heap from the server files with room left for Java itself. Raise it to about 6500M once the base grows.
Standard €7.20, Premium €13.99 a month
Our suggestion
Grown world
MC Special 1, 12GB RAM
For a base full of machines that keep running, from AE2 storage to Mekanism and Create factories, and more chunks loaded at once. Raise the heap to about 10G.
Standard €10.80, Premium €21.99 a month
Bigger group or public server
MC Special 3, 16GB RAM
For many players at once, each with their own base and up to 25 force-loaded chunks, the pack's FTB Chunks setting. Raise the heap to 13G or 14G.
Standard €14.40, Premium €27.99 a month
Setup
From order to first join
Step 1
Pick 8GB or more and a region
Your server and control panel login arrive by email after payment.
Step 2
Install Craftoria
Use the panel's modpack installer if it lists the pack. Otherwise do what the README of Craftoria-Server-1.37.0.zip says: run startserver once on a computer with Java 21, answer the EULA question, and it downloads NeoForge 21.1.249 and the mods. Upload that folder over SFTP, set Java 21 in the Startup tab and a heap that fits your plan.
Step 3
Match the pack version
Players install Craftoria 1.37.0 in the CurseForge app, the same version as the server. Better Compatibility Checker shows in the server list whether it matches.
Running the server
Craftoria things worth knowing before you start
The server files are an installer
Craftoria-Server-1.37.0.zip is only 8 KB. On the first start, ServerStarter 2.4.1 downloads NeoForge 21.1.249 and the mods from CurseForge and skips the 27 client-side projects its config lists, such as Iris, Sodium and Embeddium, so the server ends up with 499 mods.
The heap in the server files is 5GB
If your server starts through ServerStarter 2.4.1, maxRam in server-setup-config.yaml is the Java heap: 5G as shipped, whatever your plan. Raise it to about 6500M on 8GB, 10G on 12GB or 13G to 14G on 16GB, so Java keeps room for itself.
Backups are on, and they use your disk
SimpleBackups makes a full backup every 120 minutes while players are online, keeps 5 and lets them grow to 25 GB. That is more than half of the 45GB disk on our 8GB Standard plan, so lower maxDiskSize in config/simplebackups-common.toml if you need the room. Panel backups are made by hand; automatic off-site backups are an optional add-on at checkout.
Voice chat needs its own port
The pack includes Simple Voice Chat, which uses UDP port 24454 by default. Every plan includes 3 port allocations: create one in the Network tab of the panel, set port= in config/voicechat/voicechat-server.properties to that port and restart.
Claims and machines that run offline
FTB Chunks lets each player claim 500 chunks and force-load 25. Whether force-loaded chunks keep running while a team is offline depends on the FTB Ranks permission ftbchunks.chunk_load_offline. Factories that run around the clock cost server power, so decide that before the world fills up.
Lag tools are already included
spark and Observable ship with the pack, so you can see which machine or chunk slows the server down without installing anything. Crash Utilities is there too, with Item Clear switched off; turn it on in config/crashutilities-server.toml if dropped items pile up.

Craftoria Hosting FAQ
- We suggest 12GB (MC Special 1), with 8GB (MC Diamond) as the smallest plan and 16GB (MC Special 3) for a bigger group. The server files give Java a heap of 5GB (maxRam in server-setup-config.yaml), and Java needs memory on top of the heap, so we keep the heap at about 80 to 85 percent of the plan: about 6500M on 8GB and 10G on 12GB, room for a world that fills with machines. Craftoria publishes no player counts or RAM advice of its own.
- The server files start through ServerStarter 2.4.1, which takes the heap from server-setup-config.yaml: maxRam 5G and minRam 3G. Those are the same values as in the tool's own template, so they are not sized for your plan. Raise maxRam to fit it: about 6500M on 8GB, 10G on 12GB, 13G or 14G on 16GB. If your server starts NeoForge directly instead, set -Xmx in user_jvm_args.txt.
- It is tight. Our rule of keeping the heap at 80 to 85 percent of the plan gives about 5G on 6GB, exactly the heap the server files set, so there is no room left for the world to grow into, and a server that runs out of memory is stopped (exit code 137). For a pack with about 500 mods, 8GB is the smallest plan we suggest.
- Craftoria 1.37.0 runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.249. Minecraft 1.21.1 is built for Java 21, and the README in the server files says "Java 21 or Java 25 is required". You can pick the Java version in the Startup tab of the panel.
- On the Craftoria CurseForge page, open the Files tab, pick 1.37.0 and look under Additional Files for Craftoria-Server-1.37.0.zip. It is only 8 KB: a README, start scripts and server-setup-config.yaml. The first start downloads ServerStarter 2.4.1, NeoForge 21.1.249 and the mods, without the 27 client-side projects the config lists, so the server ends up with 499 mods.
- Yes. The newest version is 1.37.0, released on 13 September 2026, and 1.36.0 came out on 10 September 2026 (CurseForge, checked 25 October 2026). An update can change a big part of the mod list: the 1.35.0 notes say "backup your worlds before updating!". Take a backup from the panel first and read the changelog on the pack's GitHub.
- Yes. SimpleBackups is switched on in the pack: a full backup every 120 minutes while players are online and one after the last player leaves, with the newest 5 kept and up to 25 GB in the simplebackups folder. That counts against your plan's storage (45GB on the 8GB Standard plan), so lower maxDiskSize or backupsToKeep in config/simplebackups-common.toml if you need the room.
- Yes, once it has its own port. The pack ships Simple Voice Chat, which sends audio over UDP on port 24454 by default. Every plan includes 3 port allocations at no cost: create one in the Network tab of the panel, set port= in config/voicechat/voicechat-server.properties to that port, leave voice_host empty and restart the server.
- Yes. Everyone needs the exact same pack version as the server, so 1.37.0 on both sides. Craftoria includes Better Compatibility Checker, which shows in the multiplayer list whether a player's pack version matches the server.
- Yes. Download the world folder from your old host and upload it over SFTP, set level-name in server.properties to its folder name and make sure the server runs the same Craftoria version the world was last played on. Or add the One-time Server Migration when you order: it costs €15, charged once, and our team transfers the world for you.
- The one closest to most of your players. We run Craftoria servers in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Canada, the USA (California and Virginia), Singapore, India and Australia. The plan selector measures your ping to each region live from your browser and suggests the fastest.
- Yes. Our support team answers by live chat, Discord and email, 12/7 from 08:00 to 20:00 UTC, and can look at your startup settings and heap with you.
